Accessibility statement
Prisma is designed following the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines from the W3C, with a focus on visual and auditory disabilities.
What we’ve implemented
- High-contrast theme, text resizing (100/125/150%) and high-legibility font.
- Reduced motion respecting
prefers-reduced-motionand an in-app toggle. - Full keyboard navigation, ‘Skip to content’ link, visible focus.
- Live captions for audio events in the code sandbox.
- Textual descriptions (dynamic alt-text) for the generative canvas.
- Live announcements for assistive technology on state and route change.
- Semantic landmarks (
main,nav, ordered headings).
Known limits
- Sign-language interpretation is not yet available (WCAG 1.2.6 — AAA).
- Video content with audio description (WCAG 1.2.5) will be added with new courses.
- Some third-party code editors may not honour the global text size.
